ABOUT

I’ve been based in Hollywood for over 30 years as a long-time member of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, but wearing many other hats in the entertainment industry. I was Empire magazine’s first U.S. editor and still work for other prestigious outlets including the Sydney Morning Herald and The Age.

I’ve watched Daniel Craig chase bad guys on the Spectre set in Mexico; interviewed my screen idols, Paul Newman and Robert Redford, and visited the set of iconic TV shows like; Lost, Downtown Abbey, The Crown and Outlander. As well as interviewing every major star in Hollywood including; Tom Cruise, Harrison Ford, Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman and Meryl Streep, I am always connecting Aussies and Americans. My consulting clients include; Australians in Film, G’Day USA, Screen Australia, Screen Queensland, the Gold Coast Film Festival and New York-based Australian International Screen Forum.

As well as producing and hosting the Podcast One series, Aussies in Hollywood - recently nominated by the L.A. Press Club for Best One-on-One entertainment interview/Podcast - I’m also now Executive Vice President of Bunya Productions in Los Angeles. Bunya created hits including the Logie-winning Most Popular drama series Mystery Road and the AACTA-winning Best Picture, Sweet Country, and I’m thrilled to combine forces with them for some exciting projects to be announced in 2020!

LATEST PODCAST

Titled ‘Aussies in Hollywood’, the 22 (and growing)-interview series features intimate conversations with many Australian talent about how they arrived in Hollywood and made their mark, including Rachel Griffiths, Ben Mendelsohn, Tim Minchin and Nicole Kidman.
